Aegon is rolling out the CSC platform across its call centre, marketing groups and claims administration operations.

The system uses object-oriented, relational database technology to automate and support insurance business processes - from product development to underwriting, billing, collection and claims.

Brian Smith, executive vice president and chief operating officer, ADMS, says: "This conversion to Futurefirst has simplified our information technology infrastructure, and by integrating our workflow and core processing systems, we now have an environment that is improving both customer service and call centre productivity."

He says the system will enable the firm to get new products to market quickly and cost effectively.
