Massachusetts' PegaSystems is to launch its PegaCard Smart Dispute product - a rules-based system that automates the resolution of card payment disputes and chargebacks - in Europe.
Pegasystems says the product is aimed at both card issuers and acquirers and manages the dispute process from customer initiation through to resolution, reducing payment write-offs and errors.
The product features rules-based business process management (BPM) capabilities that automate tasks associated with dispute processing. The system also guides users through tasks that require manual intervention.
