China Construction Bank has licensed Surecomp's Imex system to support its back office trade finance operations.
The Beijing-based bank will use the thin client browser-based version of Imex running on a Unix platform.
Surecomp says Imex was chosen for its ability to handle letters of credit, collections, guarantees and a range of other trade finance services.
