Post Bank Uganda has installed India-based Infosys Technologies' core banking software, Finacle.
Post Bank Uganda says the software will enable it to deliver new products and channels and to provide customers with a personalised service.
The bank is the first in East Africa to go live with the Financle package.
Infosys says Africa is a key region for the firm and it is now focussing on driving sales in South Africa.
