Tennessee bank Union Planters has selected technology from New Jersey-based Principia Partners to manage its derivatives trading and operations.
The Principia System will enable the bank to support vanilla through complex structured products, while complying with reporting regulations such as FAS 133.
The system features extensive pricing, deal capture and analytical tools and is able to model various assets, liabilities and derivatives.
