ProVisor is a multi-functional browser-based application that provides access to portfolio information, automated online order entry, and current day market valuations.

The tool is integrated with the firm's back office securities processing engine, which is provided by ADP Brokerage Processing Services (BPS).

ADP says William Blair has implemented the latest HTML-based thin client version of ProVisor, which allows firms to deploy the broker workstation with no software installation or desktop downloads.

Terry Muldoon, principal, operations, William Blair, says: "ProVisor will give the sales force better control over account information thus allowing for better management."

William Blair also uses the proxy and prospectus services offered by ADP Investor Communication Services.
