The UK's Co-operative Bank has selected Fair Isaac's Blaze Decision System software to support its origination and account management operations.
The bank plans to roll out the system to improve business decision processes enterprise-wide as needed.
The tool, which is a component of the vendor's Business Science suite, will allow the bank to quickly create and implement analytically driven decision engines that can be executed in real time to automatically make complex business decisions.
Jeffrey Oulton, vice president, market offering management, analytic software tools, Fair Isaac, says the software will support the bank's efforts to speed up, streamline and improve decision making at every stage of the customer lifecycle.
Co-operative Bank also uses First Isaacs' adaptive control system, Triad, to process credit card accounts. The companies have also collaborated on the development of scorecards.
