UK-based credit data vendor Mark-it Partners has appointed Penny Davenport as director.

Davenport joins the firm from Lombard Risk Systems where she was the managing director of the valuation services division.

In her new role, Davenport will be responsible for the integration and ongoing management of the Mark-it Partners reference entity database, Project Red.

Mark-it says its Red database enables financial institutions to reduce operational risk that occurs from misunderstanding the relationship between reference entities and obligations.
