New York-based RiskMetrics Group says its has secured its 100th ASP contract, just 14 months after it launched its hosted risk analytics services.
RiskMetrics says its continued momentum suggests a growing trend towards the wide adoption of ASP-based financial risk management services and that there is a market for sustained growth in this area.
Ken Parker, co-head of managed services, RiskMetrics Group, says: "The success of the ASP platform lies in its ability to combine robust analytics with a lower barrier to entry and easy integration with existing analytics tools."
The group's hosted services, which were introduced to the marketplace in April 2002, have shown rapid growth in the Americas where 60% of its ASP clients are based.
Initially considered as a lower-cost option for smaller firms, RiskMetrics says the ASP platform has become a full-service, main attraction for some of its largest customers.
