The bank will switch all its branches, ATMs and vaults over to the Transoft applications over the course of a year.

Transoft's OptiCa$h system uses historical bank and ATM data to predict the demand for currency at each cash machine. OptiNet is a Web-enabled branch and carrier communications tool while OptiVault is a vault consolidation application designed to optimise currency and coin ordering and clearing for bank money rooms and carrier vaults.

North Carolina-based Transoft says it is currently seeing much success and expansion in Europe due to market changes following the introduction of the euro.
