Vasco, a provider of authentication security products, has launched Digipass GO3, a lightweight user authentication token specifically designed for the large volume retail banking market.

Digipass GO3 generates a unique one-time password for online retailing banking customers, so they don't have to use a static password. The system can also be used to distribute tan-lists (printed lists of transaction numbers).

Jan Valcke, Vasco's president and COO, says the retail-banking market needs flexible and easy to use strong authentication products at a reasonable price.

"Digipass GO3 is the cost effective alternative for insecure Tan-lists and online use of static password systems," he says.
