Trinidad-based Republic Bank is implementing SmartStream Technologies' Corona system to automate its cash reconciliations and exception management processes.
The bank is replacing its existing Nostro system with Corona.
Roopnarine Oumade Singh, general manager, Republican Bank, says the product's short implementation cycle and SmartStream's on-site training for users and administrators will ensure a quick return on investment.
"By implementing Corona, we can re-allocate our staff to different tasks and focus attention on the investigation of transaction breaks," adds Singh.
Republic Bank says it has also improved its e-business infrastructure to support speedier electronic messaging, collaboration and customer services.
