Allied Bank will roll out the vendor's Client Hawk software at three sites and also deploy its ATM Sparrow Controller package and interface to its host system. Cairo Bank will implement CR2's ATM software at one location.

The vendor is also reporting a 2002 contract win secured through local distributor Service and Computers Industries (SCI) with Orient Bank for CR2's BankWorld POS software for up to 300 terminals and ATM packages Hawk and Sparrow.

CR2 has additionally won a contract extension with Crane Bank, which currently uses ATM Sparrow Controller and ATM Client Hawk at 10 locations across the country and also uses CR2's card production facility for the in-house embossing, branding, and distribution. The bank has signed a new deal for CR2's ATM Client software, along with additional Sparrow POS licences for 200 terminals and ATM mobile top-up solution.

The contract wins bring the total number of CR2 clients in Uganda to nine.
