Financial Fusion and ILog partnership aims for 'agile STP'

Financial Fusion is adding business rules management technology from ILog to its TradeForce platform.

Under the agreement, ILog's business rule management software JRules will be integrated with the TradeForce platform. The JRules system automates decisions relating to compliance (pre-trade and post-trade validation), reference data and exception management.

Financial Fusion says the collaboration will provide asset managers, brokers and other business users of TradeForce with more control over trade orders and STP processes, while allowing them to deploy business policy changes via ILog's JRules. Previously, TradeForce customers relied on business rules hard-coded in Java.

Arnaud de Chavagnac, business development director, Financial Fusion, adds: "By adding Ilog JRules to the solution, we will be able to give business users more access to the power of TradeForce, while creating a more agile STP platform."
