Citigroup Global Transaction Services has upgraded CitiDirect for Securities, its Web-based platform for custody and clearing clients, to include improved reporting capabilities and an online inquiry tracking service.
Citi says a systematic upgrade of its Web server infrastructure has increased overall reporting performance at the CitiDirect site by 40%, resulting in faster and more reliable report retrieval and data downloads.
In addition, clients now have access to new reporting selections, including integrated trade and settled positions, trading broker and clearing agent information, and transaction data.
The revamped site also includes Inquiry, a new service that allows asset managers and advisors to submit, monitor and track inquiries online on behalf of clients.
Chandresh Iyer, vice president and programme manager, CitiDirect for Securities, says: "We've experienced significant decreases in pending client inquiries and incoming call volumes to customer service centres as a result of Inquiry."
Iyer adds that the number of users of the online service has increased by 40% over the last 12 months.
