Broker research platform First Call is to provide wireless access to its notes and real-time earnings estimates via Palm V and Palm VII Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) devices.

The new mobile application, created in partnership with Viant Corporation and wireless application platform provider iConverse, is implemented by First Call's quantitative and research application program interface (API) technology.

Existing Web clients are free to access the service at no additional charge using their existing First Call Web password.

David Epstein, vice president of product development at First Call says clients increasingly require mobile access to real-time research & earnings estimates. He adds: "The release of First Call Wireless allows our customers to make real-time trading decisions regardless of their location."
