Based on PAR3's Intelligent Response Platform, the service utilises TSYS' CardGuard system to detect suspicious transactions. The notification system then sends a detailed, automated phone message that requests the customer to verify the transaction. E-mail notification will be added to the service later.

The customer can then either confirm the purchase, forward the data to other account holders or connect to bank staff. Responses are processed and forwarded to service personnel.

Andy Marks, group executive for value-added products, TSYS, says: "With PAR3, TSYS has integrated a service that allows our clients to protect more customers from fraud."

The service is also available in both Spanish and Canadian French.
