DSTi integrates HiRisk with reporting and performance management software

London-based DST International (DSTi) is to integrate Askari's truView software - rebranded as HiRisk - with its HiReporting and HiPerformance products to produce a comprehensive risk, performance and reporting system for global investment managers and institutional investors.

DSTi acquired truView when it bought out financial software firm Askari in February 2003.

The vendor says the integrated products will be driven by a single data platform in its OpenDataWarehouse (ODW). Kim Holloway, DSTi's global head of sales adds: "Because all of these value-added applications are integrated through a common central data repository in ODW, integrating the solution with other DSTi applications such as HiInvest and HiPortfolio is seamless and easy."

After the initial integration, Holloway says DSTi will develop further direct connectivity with HiInvest to provide portfolio managers and traders with risk and performance what-if analysis and portfolio construction for the front office.

Standard interfaces will also be developed for the vendor's HiData application, which manages market data from multiple vendors. In addition, links between HiRisk and HiCompliance will be established for complete risk compliance checking.
