India's HDFC Bank has signed an agreement to implement Staffware's workflow and business process management (BPM) system, Process Suite across its retail and corporate banking operations.
Under the deal, Staffware's software will be applied to automate, manage and centralise all HDFC's business processes across the enterprise, including account opening in the retail unit and trade finance in the corporate banking division.
The system will also be integrated with third-party applications to provide the bank with document imaging and storing services.
Anand Narayan, vice president, IT, HDFC Bank, says: "We anticipate achieving significant business benefits through our use of Staffware."
Paul Maguire, country manager for Staffware India, adds that the deal demonstrates Staffware's success within the rapidly growing Indian market.
