US bank Comerica has implemented over 500 cash management systems from US-based vendor Tellermate.
Comerica says it selected the cash counting system to minimise the time it was taking to complete cash handling processes.
Ray Claes, vice president of Comerica's access points management, says: "Tellermate is currently saving us over an hour per customer service representative, per day."
The bank also installed Tellermate's TellerComK on-line interface system, which transmits data from the cash count directly to the branch's PC teller application.
