The Canadian arm of ING Direct has contracted with Ontario-based Threshold Electronics for the provision of transaction switching for POS, issuer and acquirer traffic, and automated teller machine (ATM) management.
Threshold operates Mosaic Software's Postilion switch, which is combined with its own management information and reporting systems to provide outsourced transaction switching and ATM management services.
The firm currently provides turnkey management services for approximately 1200 ATMs nationwide and also owns and operates a private-label network in Canada, branded Laser Cash, with over 800 units.
