Florida-based BankAtlantic has integrated FundTech's cash management service with its image provider solution to deliver a Web-based cheque imaging system to its business customers.
The bank says the portal will enable customers to retrieve cheque images themselves, helping them to reduce cheque fraud and speed up cash management decisions.
Anthony Gautney, senior vice president and manger of BankAtlantic's cash management department, adds: "By creating an online resource for viewing cheques, our customers can retrieve the images early the next morning rather than having to wait for a fax, or statement in the mail."
In addition to the cheque imaging portal Fundtech provides BankAtlantic with bank-branded cash management services, including its CashLink online banking system, through its Connect ASP environment. The bank also uses the vendor's PAYplus browser-based payment system for processing funds transfers.
