US-based onExchange has announced the release of Core, a J2EE-based trade processing engine aimed at firms developing capital markets transaction systems.
Privately-held OnExchange says Core is an off-the-shelf engine that supports all capital markets transactions on a single platform. The system will be marketed to firms that are developing integrated securities and derivatives capital markets systems.
Richard Jaycobs, CEO, onExchange, says: "Building a trade-processing engine often accounts for one-half of the development timeline for a capital markets back-office solution.
"Core provides a proven framework and foundation for custom building global back-office systems in the compressed time frames demanded by capital markets today," he adds.
The vendor adds that the platform can be configured without any system downtime and can be interfaced with other systems and protocols such as XML, FIX, ISO 15022, Swift and MQSeries.
