Under the deal, Teknowledge will enhance and support Bank of Bermuda's two Internet banking products - Global Connect, which services corporate clients, and Easylink Online, which services individual clients.

Businesses use Global Connect to query their accounts, transfer funds, order drafts, wire money or make payments anywhere around the globe. Teknowledge will be making this payment capability available on bank request in its TekPortal Transfers module.

Neil Jacobstein, CEO of Teknowledge, says: "We are pleased to have a relationship with one of the largest offshore banks, and believe offshore banking offers a growing market for Teknowledge's aggregation software and services."

Teknowledge last week struck a deal with Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi for use of its TekPortal online account aggregation service. Teknowledge's local partner, AccountOne, hosts this Kanji-based service in Japan, and utilises TekPortal to access account data from major Japanese financial institutions and support unique Japanese market requirements.
