Equifax Canada is to provide its customers with direct-to-customer credit information services via the Microsoft MSN.CA money site.
The link to Equifax Canada's consumer credit services provides Canadians with direct access to Credit Report and Score Power, a personalised credit score and analysis tool developed by the vendor and Fair, Isaac and Company.
Equifax claims to be the first credit reporting agency in Canada to offer consumers online access to credit reports and scores.
Rick Cleary, president, Equifax Canada, says: "As Canadian consumers become more educated about their credit health, the need for qualified resources to provide tools to help them understand and manage credit becomes greater."
Providing real-time on-line access to a consumer's personal credit data helps ensure they have the data when they need it most, he adds.
