Abanka Vipa has licensed UK-based Card Tech's issuing and acquiring software Sentry.
Card Tech says the bank will use Sentry's proxy card system to provide customers with a single-use account number and user-defined spending limit, allowing them to make online transactions without revealing card data.
The system also contains an access control server (ACS) which delivers authentication services and generates digital receipts from Visa 3D Secure enabled merchants.
