The formal launch follows beta testing of the service with 22 firms during November and December 2002.

Credit Trade Insight provides customised search, graphics and data download facilities to CDS data, including over 700,000 price points dating back to June 1997.

The vendor says 1500 CDS market quotes, trades and benchmark prices are added to to the site every day, as well as analytical data including over 40 indices, CDS mid-prices, volatility and liquidity information.

Hayley Johnson, head of product management and marketing, CreditTrade says the service is designed to provide customers with a reliable mechanism to download only the data they require.
