The Apsys III multilingual, multi-currency real-time banking system sends orders and receives trade confirmations via Front Arena's multi-market access interface.

Orders are in turn fed back to Apsys where the trades are automatically booked and settled.

Herbert Brunner, head of IT and operations, IHAG, says: "We needed a cost-efficient and effective IT solution to streamline the management of our private clients' assets."

The bank says it plans to connect the system to the SWX, Eurex and virt-X electronic exchanges.
