GE Consumer Financce, a unit of the General Electric Company, currently uses Postillion as a 'stand in' application for its PaySys VisionPlus host systems at centres in UK and Thailand, where all transactions are routed for verification.

Postilion is positioned between the point of sale and ATMs and GE Consumer Finance's credit card processing mainframe host systems. If there's a technical problem that's preventing an approved transaction being processed by the host, Postilion 'stands in' and takes over the authorisation process.

Once other offices have deployed the system, consumer-generated transactions will be sent to the closest Postillion server.
