ABN Amro has contracted with Oberthur Card Systems for the delivery of Identrus smart card, reader and software solutions for installation at corporate customer sites.
Once installed, the technology will enable the bank and corporates to securely authenticate each other when trading over the Internet.
The Oberthur Identrus package includes a Java Card - security certified to Common Criteria EAL4+ - a PC/SC smart card reader and tailorable client software.
