UBS Global Asset Management has selected SeeBeyond's business integration application to link its fund accounting units in Luxembourg and Basel.

The application will streamline UBS' fund administration processes and integrate internal and external applications that are currently handled either via Swift or custom flat file interfaces.

UBS says the SeeBeyond system was chosen for its level of automation and its STP-oriented business process capabilities.

Fredy Loepfe, executive director, global asset management, UBS, comments: "We were looking for a real-time integration infrastructure that would give us high performance levels with the scalability to handle future growth."
