Icap says its brokers are using Syntegra's latest ITS pV405Hi turrets running on Release 13, together with a combination of open line and conventional eight way speakers which are supported by an ITS p51 platform.

Syntegra, a subsidiary of UK telecommunications group BT, also provided a voice recording system from Eyretel.

Austen Marriott, COO, Icap in Asia Pacific, says: "We carefully reviewed all the vendors on the market in order to ensure the technology implemented met our needs as far as flexibility, scalability and overall value were concerned."

The new system replaced existing V-band technology and took five weeks to implement.

In addition, Icap has also installed Syntegra's ITSlink computer telephony integration (CTI) applications to handle individual call activity. The package includes support for golden direct dial in (DDI) for priority clients and 'click-dial', which enables the retrieval of previous call records, linking relevant information from a contact database.
