Smart Chip Technologies (SCTN) and Illinois-based loyalty solutions agency SHCDirect (SHCD) are teaming up to provide financial firms with a smart card-based rewards system.
Under the agreement, the companies will co-market each other’s loyalty systems.
Lester Deck, senior VP, SHCDirect says: "Smart Chip Technologies' patented smart card loyalty system will expedite our ability to offer clients secure, smart card-based incentive programmes as compatible POS systems are deployed."
Smart Chip says its system will enable SHCDirect's clients to upgrade cardholders to smart cards for EMV compliance without the interruption of key rewards programmes.
