Pension providers have until April 2003 to meet Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) guidelines regarding the statements, known as Statutory Money Purchase Illustration (SMPI).

Brian Griffiths, chief executive of B&CE, says its EasyBuild pension customers "will have access to a system that gives them the tools they need to plan for retirement, so they can scenario plan to reach a variety of financial targets".

Aqera says its software provides new illustrations, quotations meeting the FSA's new PS134 standard and 'what if' modelling tools. The system also provides online access to the DWP's State Pension Forecast.
