Mercator says its Logical Message Format will enable the bank's wire transfer department to process and format messages, which in turn will provide customers with faster turnaround times.

Harris Bank is also integrating technology from Mercator with its electronic data interchange (EDI) platform, enabling it to translate ERP files sent by customers.

Thracy Varvoglis, senior vice president, Mercator financial services industry solutions unit, says ERP integration can help clients reduce costs and limits the need to add EDI translation software to their systems.
