Chicago-based Harris Associates has selected the Macgregor Financial Trading Platform (MFTP) to automate its equity trading.
Harris Associates will deploy the portfolio manager workstation, compliance and Macgregor FIX network (MFN) components of the trading platform and will roll the system out to over 50 users.
John Raitt, chief operating officer, Harris Associates, believes Macgregor is the only OMS vendor offering a solution that includes the FIX engine and network.
"This eliminates the need to conduct additional vendor searches and hire more staff," he says.
