Former vice president of development for Javelin Technologies, Ben Lai, has joined Cameron Systems as development director.

In his new role, Lai will be based at the Cameron Systems development centre in Melbourne, Australia.

Lai worked for Javelin Technologies in New York from 1999 to 2002 and led the team that developed the Appia FIX engine.

He previously worked for Pfizer, Kodak, and BHP in New York and Australia.

Last month Cameron Systems announced the appointments of Financial Fusion's former European sales and technical directors, Glenn Cruickshank and Chris Lowdon, to spearhead the company's expansion in Europe.
