Winterthur Life, the UK life & pensions arm of Credit Suisse, is to install security software from Germany-based Beta Systems across its entire computer network.
Winterthur is to implement Beta's 88 and 89 security solutions to prevent unlawful access to its network and ensure that data and resources are only available to accredited staff.
The new system encompasses all of the company's computer operation and subordinate systems, co-ordinating the activities of all users of the main OS/3900 operating environment.
