Union Investment, the investment arm of German cooperative banking group Volks und Raiffeisenbanken, is to provide its 8000 financial advisors with a customer profiling tool developed by Swiss investment analysis software vendor Brainpower.
The tool will be made available to advisors over the Union Investment extranet. Based on the profiling results each advisor is presented with a tailored list of funds (Musterportfolios) to recommend to individual customers.
Union Investment already uses Brainpower's NetXceed technology and tools for mutual fund analysis.
