Cognotec offers bespoke FX component suite

05 November 2002  |  3170 views  |  0 Cognotec offers bespoke FX component suite

Dublin-based Cognotec has launched a componentised version of its automated foreign exchange dealing solutions, dubbed AutoDeal+.

The company has partnered with leading technology vendors, including BEA, IBM, Oracle, iPlanet, Sun, and Verisign to develop the new solution set, which is billed as a "flexible, multi-channel FX dealing service which can be bought in any combination of components".

Developed using open technologies such as J2EE, Corba, XML, and JMS, each component allows for ease of integration with bank legacy platforms, says the vendor.

AutoDeal+ components provide for centralised pricing, branch automation, e-commerce, thrid-party price feeds, white-label market-making facilities, straight-through processing and connectivity with multi-bank portals.

The software can be deployed onsite or at the Cognotec bureau or using a combination of both.
