Muslim Commercial Bank, (MCB) the largest private bank in Pakistan, is to implement System Access' Symbols banking platform to run its business operations.
The bank will use Symbol's Enterprise Operations Centre for its core transaction processing, and eFinance modules to deliver services to customers over multiple channels.
Ali Munir, senior executive vice president, MCB, says the bank required a scalable system to meet the real-time needs of its ATM network and growing online services, as well as addressing customer service levels and speed-to-market for new products and services.
"The adoption of Java-based technology also provides an added advantage for easy integration of our legacy systems," he adds.
Singapore-based System Access will provide the bank with implementation, training and support.
