La Caja de Ahorros y Pensiones de Barcelona (La Caixa), Spain's largest savings bank, has gone live with Wilco International's Gloss platform for securities and corporate actions processing.
The system has enabled the bank to centralise retail and institutional equities and corporate actions processing for cross-border operations at its Barcelona office.
The package is being used to handle the processing lifecycle for a range of corporate actions events at la Caixa, and is being enhanced to deliver more customised functionality.
La Caixa is also using STP Explorer, Wilco’s real-time exception management system, which alerts users to business exceptions and provides tools for investigation, repair and resubmission of transactions.
