The centre, located at the Wells Fargo Web site, provides targeted financial education and product information for Spanish-speaking consumers and businesses.

Tim Rios, vice president, Wells Fargo corporate community development group, says: "With this 'in-language' offering, we can now serve Spanish speaking consumers and small business users, anytime, anywhere, across all of our channels: ATM, phone, in person and now online."

A recent national online research study commissioned by the Latin Business Association shows that 82% of US Latino business decision makers use computers for 75% or more of their work. The study also shows that Latino business owners conduct 97% of their operations with some degree of Spanish.

According to research conducted by Nielsen/NetRatings, the Milpitas-based Internet audience measurement and analysis company, Web surfers of Latino origin are the fastest growing at-home ethnic group on the Internet.
