Israeli card issuer Isracard is to implement Cyota's SecureSuite solution to provide Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services to its cardholders.

Isracard chooses Cyota authentication system

The system will provide cardholders with a virtual receipt at the point of purchase, which they will verify with a user name and password.

Amir Orad, Cyota vice president, marketing and business development, Cyota, says: "We are seeing a strong increase in market demand for the technology now that MasterCard has announced its plans to use the 3-D Secure protocol for SecureCode."

Isracard, a subsidiary of Bank Haopolim, says it will launch the services this quarter.
