ATM manufacturer Diebold has announced that its Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operation has joined Visa's EU Smart Partner programme.
The programme is designed to encourage migration to EMV technology by providing discounts or extended warranties to Visa EU members on ATMs, POS terminals, test tools, card services and card management solutions.
Emilio Caligaris, EMV product manager, EMEA, Diebold, says: "By working with Visa we hope to reduce the costs of migration and enable an easier, cheaper, faster move to EMV across Europe."
