Australian e-payments company SecurePay has acquired eSec's Internet payment gateway business for an undisclosed amount.
SecurePay has acquired eSec's online payments technology and merchant customer base and will continue to offer eSec services.
SecurePay says the combination of its own payment technology with eSec's will make paying over the Internet more secure for both merchants and customers.
Saxon Hill, CEO, eSec, says the deal will allow the company to focus on its core information security businesses.
