Citibank is to offer merchant customers CyberSource's Internet payment gateway and risk management services through its CitiConnect Seller solution.
The technical integration effort will enable merchants operating in multiple countries to access CyberSource's gateways to Citibank's US and European merchant processing systems and will eliminate the need to establish disparate, country or currency specific systems, says the bank.
The range of outsourced services provided via CyberSource includes credit and signature debit card payments, risk management applications, tax calculation, export compliance and delivery address functionality.
