Bear, Stearns & Co is offering Belzberg Technologies' direct access trading system as a fully-integrated vendor trading solution for its correspondents.
Under the agreement, Bear Stearns will become a trading destination on the Belzberg network.
Bennett Egeth, a senior managing director of global clearing services at Bear Stearns says: "It is important for Bear Stearns to build high quality interfaces with products that our clients feel will give them a competitive advantage."
Sid Belzberg, CEO of Belzberg, adds that he expects the agreement will help increase transaction-based revenue.
