Principia Partners has appointed derivatives, risk and accounting system specialist Dr Anil Vijayan, with a brief to keep the New Jersey-based trading systems house up to speed with changing financial accounting standards.
Vijayan will play a principal role in shaping the company's FAS133/IAS39 derivatives accounting product strategy. In this capacity, he will help develop best practices and product functionality required to comply with the evolving accounting standards.
Prior to joining Principia Partners Vijayan headed up a team of twelve in the STP practise at Andersen Consulting. He has also worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, SunGard, and held trading and risk management consultant positions at Deutsche Bank and KPMG.
