Finnish-based FIM Securities has chosen technology from Advent Sweden for trading & order management, portfolio management & reporting and client relationship management.

FIM will replace its existing in-house system with Advent Office to handle the firm's mutual funds, discretionary portfolios and internal order flow.

Niklas Geust CEO of FIM Asset Management, says: "The Advent solution will help us to improve our customer service, by providing more efficient order management, asset management specialisation, and improved external and internal reporting. With the exceptional cost-to-benefit ratio that this solution offers, we believe that we will finance this investment in a couple of years."

The deal with FIM represents Advent's first contract win in Finland.
